Malta's newest fast ferry service to and from Sicily
At a glance
New kids on the block? Not really.
You would be forgiven for thinking that Ponte is new to the scene because, in a way, it is.
This is our first fast ferry between Malta and Sicily, but behind Ponte is a group of people with decades of experience in the maritime industry. We bring expertise gained from the Magros’ pioneering work in the transportation of cargo between Malta and Gozo, to the Zammit Tabonas’ cruise and ferry services around our islands and, most recently, the fast ferry service between Gozo and Valletta. It’s about time that travellers between Malta and Sicily had a choice, which is why we offer the best prices coupled with unsurpassed service.
We are here to disrupt the market, and we are here to stay.

Why choose us?
We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy all that Malta and Sicily have to offer, whatever their budget or commitments. That is why Ponte offers different seat categories at great prices, different amenities to suit different needs, and a loyalty scheme that rewards returning customers.
Ponte aims to highlight the east coast of Sicily and its many attractions. Our chosen port of Augusta is an attraction in itself, but it also sits between Catania and Mount Etna, and the popular towns of Siracusa and Taormina. It is also close to Sicilia Outlet Village, an obligatory pit-stop for fashion enthusiasts, and many major furniture and electronics outlets.
The same applies to Malta, of course. With its sunny beaches and abundance of historical sites, the small archipelago is a must-visit for anyone based on the neighbouring Italian island.
